Mr. Ofer Tziperman (52) brings over 20 years of managerial experience in the international high-tech industry. He originally joined oti in 1995, where for nearly five years as VP Marketing and Sales he played a major role in turning oti to an international organization with subsidiaries and distributors around the world. He was deeply involved in the company’s initial public offering in 1999 in Germany.
Ofer left oti in 2000 to co-found LocatioNet Systems Ltd., where he served as its CEO and President. In this capacity he led LocatioNet Systems to become one of the pioneering technology providers in the location-based services market. During this period, Ofer gained practical experience in monetizing LocatioNet’s patents. Ofer is an ex-attorney and practiced commercial and business law. He holds an LLB degree from the Faculty of Law at Tel Aviv University, and is graduated from the Israeli Navy’s Naval Officers Academy. In 2001, the World Economic Forum honored him as a ‘Technology Pioneer’.
In 2011, Ofer re-joined oti to lead its global parking business as the President of PARX Ltd. Under his leadership, PARX has expanded its product portfolio from a single product to a full range of products, and quickly expanded on a global basis with commercial deployments in eight countries. He is a co-inventor of four new patent applications in the field of car parking.
Mr. Shay Tomer, 36, is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel. He joined oti in 2007, first as a controller at its headquarters in Israel and since 2008 as deputy CFO. Among his responsibilities are consolidation of global quarterly and annual reports, budget planning for each subsidiary, implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and managing the company’s cash flow. Prior to oti, Shay was in Ernst & Young’s audit department and was a lecturer and instructor in accounting on the Open University of Israel. Shay holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from the University of Haifa.
Mr. Moshe Cohen has been with oti since 2003, acting first as a Software Engineer, R&D Team Leader and later on as VP of R&D for a period of three years. Moshe specializes in EMV and proprietary payment applications, systems and embedded security, protocols, embedded operating systems, cryptography, smart cards, standardization, contactless and RFID, PKI and authentication applications, certification processes and development of unique test plans. Moshe has been a member of the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC17/WG8 “Contactless Integrated Circuit Cards” ISO committee since the beginning of 2005. He holds a B.Tech in Software Engineering, an M.B.A with specialization in Integrative Management from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is certified by the Israeli Technion as a CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) for corporations.
Mr. Amir Eilam has been oti’s VP of R&D since 2012. Amir has been with oti since 2005, acting first as embedded software engineer, and then as manager of the Firmware and Petroleum departments. Specializing in OS design for embedded products, Amir holds a Bsc in Electronics Engineering from Ort Brauda College of engineering in Israel.
Mr. Hanan Caspi, brings to oti valuable experience at establishing and running global operations in the electronics industry. Prior to joining oti, Hanan was Global COO of the Aviv Fineline group, leading it to become one of Europe’s top 5 PCB providers. Before that, he managed the establishment of the first automatic assembly line with an FDA-approved clean room for Given Imaging (NASDAQ: GIVN), a medical technology company. Previously, Hanan held several positions in the contract manufacturing industry, transitioning companies to full outsourcing/turnkey capabilities. He was also the head of the Israeli Electronics manufacturers association (from 2002 to 2006).
Hanan has lectured at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and Western Galilee College on material management, purchasing, logistics and international trade.
Mr. Nehemya Itay has been oti’s Vice President-Hardware Engineering since July 1995. From 1990 to 1995, he was employed by oti as a research and development engineer, and was a company director from 1991 to 1999. Nehemya is a member of the Joint Task Committee of the International Standards Organisation on standards for contactless smart cards. Prior to joining oti, he was a hardware development engineer at Electo-Galil, an Israeli manufacturer of radio frequency-based identification cards. Previously, he was a hardware electronic engineer at Elscint, an Israeli technology company. Nehemya holds a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from The Technion (Israeli Institute of Technology) and an M.Sc in electronics from Drexel University, Philadelphia.
Mr. Alon Ben-Zvi is the Chief Operating Officer of Parx. Prior to that, was the Technical Support Manager and Project Manager for the oti Group, where he set up the first international implementations of EasyPark. He has vast knowledge in smartcard technology focusing on integrating contactless readers into payment systems. With extensive experience in product and project management, Alon has powerful project planning, design and implementation skills, and has been responsible for multiple projects from inception through execution including configuration management and change management. Prior to joining the oti group, he was Technical Support Manager for Demantra, a leading global provider of demand-driven planning solutions. Alon has a General BA degree from Tel Aviv University.
Mr. Arie G. Rubinstein joined oti in 2010, acting first as in-house legal counsel to the company’s SmartID Division. Arie, among others, is responsible for the provision of legal services and counseling to the diverse divisions of the company and its subsidiaries by the legal department, as well as being in charge of corporate matters on behalf of the Board of Directors, and serves as company’s FCPA Officer. Prior to joiningoti Arie worked for several years for respected Israeli law firms in the private sector as a civil and commercial attorney.Arie holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Law School at the College of Management Academic Studies (COMAS) in Israel.
