EasyFuel Enhanced Configuration 
EasyFuel Enhanced Configuration provides enhanced vehicle information including OBD data. EasyFuel for fleets is a cost effective and durable system requiring minimal maintenance.  Data is collected automatically, wirelessly and effortlessly. Packaged in a waterproof enclosure, the Vehicle Tag is mounted in the vehicle, with an antenna mounted around the fuel inlet to allow a remote antenna in the building to access information stored on the vehicle tag. 
When the fleet vehicle enters onto the gas station property, the vehicle tag is detected by the system.  The driver selects a fuel nozzle and places it into the fuel tank. The EasyFuel system checks if the vehicle tag is correct, comparing it to the negative or “hot” list. If the tag is valid, the fuel type selected is compared to the fuel type stored on the vehicle tag, account authorization is obtained, and other controls in place are checked, like time between last fueling, etc. If all is well, the site controller tells the POS to authorize the dispenser and fueling can begin. As long as the nozzle stays inside the fuel tank inlet, fueling can continue. The odometer reading is transmitted to the Site Controller, which gathers all the fueling transaction data after fueling is complete. If the tag is not valid, or the fuel type selected is wrong, or other controls in place are not met, the dispenser will not be authorized.
The Vehicle Tag is a microprocessor-based smart card.

 Information stored on the vehicle tag can include:
• OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) data
• Registration and VIN number or other vehicle ID number
• Fuel grade and permissible volume 
• Minimum distance allowed between refueling
• Odometer or engine hour reading
• Payment / billing information 
• Multiple drivers identification
• Loyalty programs

Putting information on the vehicle tags is easy and secure

An EasyFuel Vehicle Tag Issuing Unit performs the initial programming of the fleet information onto the vehicle tag at time of installation. One would be located in each garage facility where vehicle tag installation would occur.
Optional Driver Tags and Dispenser Readers can be added to the system for driver identification and payment inside the store. A Personalization Station, which includes software and a desktop reader, is installed in the home office, or wherever secure population, or programming, of handheld driver tags would be controlled.
