Border Control Systems

OTI offers a state-of-the-art Biometric Border Control System, based on its Magna™ platform. The system provides image and data enrollment, electronic Passport personalization and issuing, utilizing electronic Stickers, Biometric applications, electronic passport identification for border control and means to detect forged passports.   The Border Control system includes means to verify the authenticity of the passport and Biometric means to identify the passenger.

 The system enables border control officers to receive unequivocal identification results using a combination of two Biometric applications – Fingerprints and Facial Recognition verification systems.

The system implements the latest International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and EU standards for electronic passports.
 

OTI’s Magna™ modular platform offers short implementation and quick integration with a country’s existing border control systems and provides external interfaces to digital Certificate Authority (CA) for signature verification.
